Player Intro: May 2019

Player Intro: May 2019—

Hey, guys, and welcome to [community profile] forgottentales's Player Introduction post for our first batch of public registrations!. Thanks to everyone who has joined so far, and looking forward for those who may come later!

To keep the OOC spam to a minimum, everyone can use this post for to say hello and introduce themselves, and for current players to greet them, especially as public registration goes on! Be sure to include your name, what character(s) your bringing, their essences, a little about themselves, and share your contact if you'd like! And you can put in whatever you want so just have fun /o/

THAT is actually up to you. We debated on having an intro log but with such a low number and with some IC stuff coming up soon (like next week soon lmao) we decided to forego one and just let this be the time for everyone to settle in, make their own intros if they'd like. It's honestly not unusual for people to take a week to actually intro because of time and whatnot.

But we will have an announcement 6/01 detailing some stuff, and there will also be an IC BBQ party where everyone is invited and will be styled like a mini party event log. So if you'd like to wait until that hits next week, you're more than welcome to! Otherwise, just toss up a log or network post and we'll charge in ha ha.

OH and I forgot to mention I'm on [plurk.com profile] laenavesse and we also hang out on our Discord server. We all have plurk, too, but Discord is the better way to chat and plot out things. Because we're small it's also a lot more quiet haha. Very cozy.

I tend to avoid game discords because I have issues with swearing but don't want to limit anyone else's freedom of speech in their safe space. (On plurk I use a filter that catches... most things.)

Was there a place I am forgetting that explains what arriving is like? So I can figure out where Nagihiko's head is at, and how housing works? I read through EVERYTHiNG I could find before I posted to the workshop. But stuff gets lost in my swiss cheese brain.

And cool. An announcement on my actual birthday!

That's totally fine! We all also use plurk so works out either way, haha. But we're a very small and chill group so there really isn't much swearing that happens in there. Maybe the occasional "damn" or something.

And don't worry about forgetting things. ..........There's a lot, and that's after I tried to fix and pare things down from the original version ah aha ha... In the Game Info, you can find the general information you're looking for under the first day in the realm tab! The tab under it ("life in the index") might also help a bit. For the most part, people tend to have their character explore, figure out some essence abilities, and/or find their house. So kind of tracking similar to our first TDM prompt (the general Index one).

Thank you so much! I will go look into that tab!!! I am so excited to have a good home for Nadeshiko again, and this game looks really awesome!
