Hey guys, and welcome to forgottentales's Player Introduction post for public registrations! Thanks to everyone who has joined so far, and looking forward for those who may come later.

To keep the OOC spam to a minimum, everyone can use this post to say hello and introduce themselves, and for current players to greet them, especially as public registration goes on! Be sure to include your name, what character(s) your bringing, their essences, a little about themselves, and share your contact if you'd like! To help jumpstart plotting, please include things you'd be interested in doing while in the game. We'll have a formal intro log posted once the registration period ends, but we also have the Commission Board with tasks that last throughout the entire Break.

We hope you enjoy your time in our little game, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask us! We also recommend joining our Discord server.

Hello, this is Nikil and a newbie here. I'm bringing in Ren Amamiya aka Joker from Persona 5. Mainly from the true ending in the Royal version.

His essence is Robin Hood, which is ironic considering that's Akechi's persona.

Anyway, I am hoping to have some fun with him, and get him into all sorts of trouble like maybe say get him poisoned by Adachi?. Especially with his usual bad luck.

His essence is Dr. Jekyll&Mr. Hyde, and he's been here long enough that his appearance has changed a lot as Hyde. I think it would probably be reminiscent to Edelgard, so I look forward to seeing how things go when they meet.

Hey there, it's Laena (Rokurou, Shizuo) dropping one character to bring in two more. ...I think I did this wrong. Anyway, I've dropped Eustace to bring in Eugene from Tangled and Helios (helisyon) from Sailor Moon.

Eugene's essence is the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and that's going to be a lot of fun I think. Especially with who the Evil Queen is /cough. Not only will he be able to turn into a mirror, but he can also conjure mirrors, travel through them, have fun with reflections, and even create bladed weapons made of mirror glass. Which will improve over time. I also plan to have him be able to see the reflections of people, possibly seeing the truth of things, and kind of be able to look through mirrors like a network, but that's down the road and with player permission. Otherwise, although a former thief he's a nice, fun guy who is head over heels in love with Rapunzel. I look forward to just getting into silly shenanigans and maybe have him deal with past stuff because that's always fun. His quirk is reflecting gestures when getting into a heated, emotional discussion. Also, if anyone asks who the fairest of them all is, he will either say Rapunzel or himself. (Or if we get someone with the Snow White essence, that person.) Though he may flatter someone if they're nice—

Helios's essence is Merlin from the Arthurian legends. Although he looks somewhere between 12-15, he's actually ancient old as he has protected the Earth for millennia. Alas, he is no longer connected to Elysion so he'll be a bit sad but he'll be happy knowing he's doing something to protect his beloved home and people. Helios is what I would call a priest class, so now he's switching to a mage class and needing to learn all the magic spells that go with it. He'll also be able to transform into animals, though he'll favor his usual Pegasus form. He'll be able to do some healing and purification, and over time be able to enter dreams and have small prophetic glimpses. Otherwise he's really more like a Disney princess— Anyway, hoping to just get him out there and make friends.

YO WHAT'S UP I'm Alba and I'm bringing in Prince Alexander of Daventry from King's Quest to this game. He'll be arriving with his sister Rosella, and he has the Essence of Snow White, which means he can:
- Tame and speak to animals by singing to them
- Cannot be poisoned, as any attempt will just make him go to sleep

He's a curious, nervous, and shy lad, but he genuinely is eager to help out where he can!

This is Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy IX, you know, one of those numbered games with 'final' in the title where you get a fantasy party together and save the world from a god, gods, or someone who wants to be god. Spoilers: this game series is never 'Final'. Anyway, he is a thief-y protagonist that's also an actor... and an alien, but don't ask too many questions here. His essence is Aladdin from One Thousand and One Nights who's actually less of a thief in book and more on the lazy side of life. Always expect him to have a Stand Jinni with him because they live in his ring.

Anyway, get to know him. He likes getting to know people... whether you want him to or not.

Hey there, I'm Alex and I'm bringing in Princess Rosella of Daventry from King's Quest! She's Alexander's twin sister (fraternal, obviously) and goes from Damsel in Distress™ in King's Quest 3 to being a protagonist in her own right in King's Quest 4! So she's kind of run the spectrum of Fabulous Hostage to Princess Who Gets Some Shit Done.

Her Essence is Artemis from Greek Mythology for a handful of reasons that make me feel very clever (twins, archery, an extreme reluctance to get married), and her powers include:

♘ The ability to summon a silver bow that acts as both a weapon and a focus for her abilities
♘ Arrows that, when shot, produce effects in line with typical Artemisian qualities, such as:

o) Producing a burst of light (one of her associations is Phaesporia — the "Lightbringer")
o) Charming a wild animal to befriend her (goddess of wild animals)
o) Killing peacefully and without pain (the effects of her silver arrows of legend)

♘ A soft, ethereal glow to her skin akin to moonlight

She's an upbeat, good-mannered, outgoing, and sociable sort of girl, courtesy of a loving upbringing; like all of her family, she adores reading, puns, and grand adventures, so I feel like she'll really take to the setting here!

Unless there are dragons. She's still, uh. Pretty averse to dragons.

Hello friends! It's Pixle and now I will be bringing this very nice detective boy who is totally not a psychopath Persona answer to Vegeta tsundere bad-boy. I am taking him from Royal, right before Maruki's world crumbled and he 'died' again.

His essence is going to be The Shadow, because it's a great idea to give him the powers of a rich pretty boy that has a hard-on for justice and totally not Batman's predecessor. There's Radio shows! a 1990s movie, and a lot of comic books. At first he will get the outfit, his guns and the ability to project his voice and mimic others.

Because he's terrible in general he will cause issues I have no doubt. But you know, also he's polite and nice, but please do not feed him pancakes after midnight.

'Sup? I'm Asher, and I'm bringing you all Therion from Octopath Traveler as the Djinni of the Lamp from Aladdin. Am I ever going to spell djinni/jinni/genie the same way twice in a row? Unlikely!

Therion is a thief--a real, active thief, unlike y'all Phantom Thieves and former thieves and so on--but if you can look past all the larceny and general disrespect for personal property, he's an okay guy. He has trust issues and builds up walls, but he also gets whole-heartedly attached to the people he's around and will steal do just about anything for them, which is more or less why he's been stuck with the genie gig. He doesn't have any magic which with to get you your palaces of gold and jade and flying carpets right now and will be slowly gaining that power, so prepare to have wishes answered by the simple expediency of Therion walking somewhere, picking up a thing, and bringing it back to you with the utmost weariness and exasperation. You're welcome.

Anyway, I'll be putting up a fresh new permissions post sometime today so that anyone who'd like their pockets picked can live out their wildest wallet-less dreams.

Hi everyone, I'm Taku and super new to the game, bringing in Kurt Frank from the survival horror game Identity V. Despite what kind of canon he is from involving killing games and such, he's very friendly and considers himself an explorer, loving to travel and go on exciting adventures to share stories about with others! As a result, he's ended up with the essence of Gulliver from Gulliver's Travels.

Kurt can shrink to 15 cm which is the size of the people of Lilliput, and grow for now to about 8-10 ft tall which isn't quite the same as the giants from the second passage but he might eventually be able to go even higher someday. Also he may be able to talk to horses because sentient horses sure are a thing in that book too. Or at least he thinks he can totally understand their language now, its possibly debatable.

Yo! Sailor G (Keith) finally bringing in a second character, Duo Maxwell from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing. Heck yeah, old school for the win.

Duo is fully canon compliant for everything except Frozen Teardrop, as that particular part carries some controversy in the fandom (some love it, some hate it). I seem to have a thing for bad-boy orphans with a heart of gold, and here's another. Duo grew up on the streets and spent some time in a church orphanage before becoming the pilot of Gundam Deathscythe. With the other four Gundams, he fought against OZ and basically started a rebellion on Earth. He's good at being stealthy, and breaking in (and out) of places. However, unlike my other bad-boy orphan with a heart of gold, Duo is loud and obnoxious. He still doesn't trust easily, but he's less obvious about it.

His essence is Peter Pan, so his quirk is that he distrusts all of you adults. This also means he's learning how to fly and will eventually learn to use shadow magic and summon a pixie friend.

Duo's easier to interact with than Keith because he's more likely to talk back (haha), so feel free to hit me up for plotting for him, and yes, also Keith. Hello, I'm Dante and I'm bringing in a second character. It's Dogo from the Lion Guard! He's a sweet, friendly little jackal cub... who will steal right from under you if you let him. He's very good about using his cute looks to trick people into either giving him things or doing things for him.

His essence is Puss in Boots! He'll have boots to make him bipedal, retractable cat claws, and the ability to turn himself into a cat. He'll be acting more catlike in general too.

Hallo hallo my name is Kat and I'm bringing uncle cat man Nanu from Pokemon Sun/Moon (gamesverse). He's a grumpy burnt out cop with a morbid sense of humor who specializes in dark types and hoards cats and shirks responsibility whenever it's unnecessary. He is not nice except when he's nice. Despite that he gets along decently well with kids and older folks his age and just about anyone in between and, uh, of course cats.

He'll have Cheshire Cat's essence here and will use it mostly to avoid the terrible burden of walking with his own two legs and disappear into thin air whenever it's inconvenient and grin menacingly at people when it is convenient.

Hello!!! I'm new here, I'm Em and I bring Felix Hugo Fraldarius from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. A rude, tsundere swordsman. He hates sweets, likes cats, trains in swordfighting all the time, and is a lot more emotional than he lets on.

I picked Prince Phillip for his essence-- the prince from Sleeping Beauty, who is sort of just the stock prince charming character from various stories but I grabbed the name Disney gave him. I thought a chivalrous character would be funny since Felix kind of hates chivalry. Also funnier is I decided his powers only work by kissing (wakes up anyone asleep/unconscious and lifts curses).

He's a newly-crowned king that's just reached the end of a grueling war and the beginning of a lot of difficult political juggling. Naturally, upon hearing there was another important fight he could get into to protect the land he was eager to sign on.

He'll be coming in with the essence of Orihime from the Tanabata myth, because abandoning all his other duties due to obsession with one (1) person is kind of his thing.

As a side note, I hit pause on the tdm threads once I was certain I wanted to app since I'd like to take a peek at the official intro log before deciding what's game canon, but I'm happy to continue if anyone would like!

This is my third character, Xion from Kingdom Hearts. She's from post KH III so there are spoilers if you're still avoiding those.

Her essence is Baldr from Norse Mythology. The God of light, joy, purity, and the summer sun. He's the son of Odin and really weak to mistletoe. Xion can also make herself immune to physical and magical attacks for a few seconds - longer later on. She can also use light as weapons.

... and she lives on a ship.

It's been a bit since I played Maron somewhere, but I'm excited for it, and Serah's getting a bit of a reset after 2.5 years in Empatheias but she'll want to make ALL THE FRIENDS and help save the world!

Maron's essence is the god of Justice in Greek myth, Astraea (who is also said to be the basis for the constellation/astrology sign Libra, so there's that) and Serah is Sigrún, a Valkyrie from the Poetic Edda! I'm down for just about anything, and I look forward to playing with everyone here! ♥

Hello! My name is Nea, I'm new here despite eyeing at this game for... Forever, really, since its beginning or before that even ooops. Time flies and so on.

This is Weiss Schnee from RWBY, she's from very near end of volume 7 but easy to avoid spoilers with since she doesn't really want to talk about it... Weiss is the canon ice queen, a total tsundere but she's actually also a very nice girl behind all of her coldness. It may just take time with her. She loves dogs of any age/size, please give her dogs to play with!

Her Essence is the Snow Queen from The Snow Queen, she's not going to be so happy about losing her canon abilities to sudden magical abilities even if she uses A LOT of ice things in canon too. Also she got away from lonely and icecold life, I guess she will have some words about this ironic twist but I couldn't resist...

Fun fact; RWBY is a world of fairytales and Weiss is canonly inspired/alluded by Snow White (which is why her name means White Snow) and she also has songs about talking to mirrors as if she's talking to the magic mirror in them.
