Louie Duck | DuckTales 2017

Player: Satyr | [plurk.com profile] dolewhip
Character: Llewellyn "Louie" Duck
Canon: DuckTales (2017 reboot), post-Moonvasion
Age: 11
Bio Blurb: (optional: Wiki.)

Personality Blurb:
Louie is a preteen con-artist, although he has recently learned a thing or two about scheming his way to riches. The boy has gained humility and perspective... But he still likes money and "nice things", and he's still a little con. He just now knows how to channel his cleverness - or sharpness - and ability to see all the angles into productive things. Still, Louie likes to take the easy way out. He's usually pulling the least of the weight in any group task, and he generally just exerts minimal effort whenever possible - except when his family's in danger, or he himself is. He's good at making this work for him, too, being skilled at using minor manipulation to get his way. It's more than notable, however, that Louie is lazy in no small part because he fears that true effort on his part will not be rewarded. He has said that he lacks the skills the rest of his family possesses, although he has learned from his Uncle Scrooge that he has his own gifts. He has the ability to pick apart a situation and see the patterns. This is also shown in his ability to delegate and the people skills he can use to charm or manipulate others, depending on his intent. While he isn't delicate in his speaking, he's sensitive in certain ways, and that's something to remember. In the episode "The Secret(s) of Castle McDuck", for example, Louie doesn't react angrily to finding out Dewey's been keeping secrets about their mother - as Huey does. Instead, he gets quiet and withdrawn - he's been hurt, and he reacts with sadness.

Preferred Essence(s): Puss-in-Boots, who cons both for his own gain and that of those close to him.
Looking For: Open to other tricksters, with a preference for tricksters who use their smarts for good.

Appearance: The green one. Except, you know, he'd have boots.

Abilities: No magical or supernatural skills, but he's got his cleverness. His Puss-in-Boots Essence might make him more agile, and I'm thinking of some kind of claw-themed weapons again, but would like other Essence-based ability ideas.

Quirks: I'm using the chasing mice thing again if I go with Puss-in-Boots.

Goal: I miss playing this garbage child in a game, and I feel like Season 2's ending gave me so much new ground to cover with him! Let's make him have to help people, even if we know he only came here because he was dragged in by the Storyteller's underlings.
Extra: N/A
Questions: Okay but seriously, would the journal display his name as Llewellyn Duck please say yes.
