Welcome everyone to our CR Meme! Everyone new and old is invited to fill out the form and make a thread discussing what they'd like to do with their characters in their time here. Feel free to comment around and plot with each other! We're in sandbox mode, so everyone is free to chill and do whatever until our next campaign.

Hunk

Character: Hunk
Canon: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Essence: Winnie-the-Pooh | Winnie-the-Pooh
Brief Personality: The only thing Hunk loves more than food is his friends, and he's been described as the heart of Voltron. He's none too found of conflict, and even with all the courage he's gained, Hunk is still prone to fear and panic. Despite being a goofball at times, Hunk is notably intelligent, specifically in the engineering and mechanical sciences. His usually laidback nature is tempered by a stubborn streak that comes to play mostly when he's trying to protect others, even if he's not in the right on how he goes about this. As a quirk, he has gained forgetfulness/some memory issues.
Appearance: Here, but with teddy bear ears instead of human ones, and a red shirt instead of his usual top.
Abilities: The ability to summon a balloon that would allow him to float, and a tendency to get himself/his hands/feet/head stuck in smaller spaces. He can also turn into a giant teddy bear with greater strength than his normal form. Also! Honey Pot Grenades. They generally explode with an extra-sticky and thick honey, but honey from lavender flowers induce sleep, and honey from fireweed can cause a small but fiery explosion.

Currently: Hunk's made a very good friend in fellow nervous cook Kotori, and come to find out that two of his friends from home are here, too! He's still trying to adjust, though, and hasn't really figured out his powers at all. He knows his quirk, though, and does not like it.
Future Ideas: Figuring out the positive things he gets from his essence! Maybe starting a bakery, too? And he definitely needs more friends.
Shipping: Hunk is oblivious and/or awkward about romance, and he has a budding interest in Bridge and an existing crush on his friend Pidge. Honestly, I'm not totally sure how that's going to play out? But he can be crushed on, sure.

Housing/Business:

• Location: In the woods
  
• What does it look like?: He lives in a tree. Literally. I haven't decided what the inside looks like, exactly, though!
  
• Extra Fun Things: I'd love to know who else lives in the woods!
  
• Business:If and when he opens the bakery, that will be in the city, not the woods!

Seeking: Hunk is delightful in all kinds of CR, so I'm going to be unhelpful and say "almost any and all." Although, I specifically would like to see people get him out of his comfort zone further!
Offering: Hunk's a loyal friend and a good voice of reason, as well as a good listener.
Not Interested In: Once again, I'm not really interested in lastingly SUPER INTENSE negative CR, but it can be discussed.

I just really love Hunk and Bridge's interactions. They're super cute. And hey, if you want someone to get Hunk out of his comfort zone, Bridge is all for that.

Yeah they're adorable, it's really sweet. And I hadn't even though of Bridge for the comfort zone stuff, but he'd be great as a person to do that!

I'm starting to realize that Bridge is kind of a watered-down version of Lance.

Watered-down feels unfair to Bridge, lol. He's just... More chill than Lance.

Which isn't hard to be, but you know.

But YEAH there's similarities, which is hilarious because I do ship Hunk and Lance. XD

These two should definitely have a cooking buddy date once they get back to the Index! (And of course, Kotori’s starting to get a crush on him too, so who knows how well THAT’LL go. XD My poor silly baby.)

They definitely should - I was kind of thinking the bakery could be Kotori's idea? If you think that'd work, it'd be really cute. (And nooo, poor Kotori! Sob.)

Oh my gosh, that’d be awesome! Maybe it comes up either in their current thread or their own cooking thing later! (Shhhhhh it’s fiiiiiine Hunk will never know, it’s not like she can be blatantly obvious about how flustered she gets. .... Oh wait. =D)

Yay, I'm glad you like the idea! I think it should come up when they're actually back in the Index and Hunk is a little less stressed about how he may or may not have broken this story. XD (SOB.)

Well, there's Roxas! At least nothing remotely complicated goes on in his life that could make his relationship with others tricky to navigate. 8D

NOPE. Especially now that the “I’m technically dead” stuff is out of the way. =D

Oh ALSO! To make this thread a LITTLE more useful, maybe the tree house goes is bigger on the inside! You could make it a cozy little wood cabin and/or underground villa. And since campaign rewards usually feature a “level up” for any one part of a residence, you could make it really swank (or just super comfy) over time!

Tree TARDIS! Treedis? Cozy little wood cabin inside a tree sounds AMAZING and leveling it up to maximum coziness would be perfect.
