Fujisaki | Shugo Chara (warning, here there be spoilers)

Player: Chicklet | [plurk.com profile] ChickletLARP
Character: Nadeshiko/Nagihiko Fujisaki
Canon: Shugo Chara. I am thinking of pulling them from when Nagihiko has become the Jack's chair, has both eggs, but... neither have hatched. Still trying to deal with Rima's jealousy issues and having such a big secret and trying to figure out who Nagihiko is supposed to be, after so many years of being Nadeshiko.
Age: 13
Bio Blurb: Short version:

Nagihiko was forced to live as a girl until he was 12, learning to dance and move and act like a girl so that as an adult he will be able to teach both males and females, as is the tradition for the first born in the Fujisaki family. Now able to live as himself and learn to dance and act and move as a male, Nagihiko has no clue who that self is. Especially as he seems to have lost all of his powers, and an important part of himself when he decided to no longer be Nadeshiko. (Hint: Even in canon, that didn't last, so it will not last in game play either.)

Personality Blurb:

As Nagihiko: He isn't sure who he is, yet. Or who he wants to be. He is still trying to figure all that out. So he is insecure and unsure around other people, and has a bit of an inferiority complex, especially given how many people loved his "sister" Nadeshiko and don't realize what they are doing to him when they talk about how much they miss her. But when he does get comfortable, part of who he is under it all shows through. Like Nadeshiko, Nagihiko can be a troll. Unlike Nadeshiko, he doesn't hide it. When he drops into being a troll it is big and out there and obvious. Like forcing two male friends to cross dress, or accepting a hand offered to help pull him out of a pit... and using it to pull his would be rescuerer in with him. Of course, he stands behind the fact that both cases were utterly deserved, thank you very much. He also doesn't know it yet, but he is just as competitive as Nadeshiko was, and he loves sports. And as much as dance has made his life so weird and difficult... he comes alive when he is dancing. A smile like you wouldn't expect from the usually quiet boy. He is also a great tactician, though he fails to see that, and the self sacrificing sort. Brave.

As Nadeshiko: Graceful, feminine to a fault (except when a friend is in danger or when challenged to a competition), often demure. Nadeshiko comes off as this sweet innocent little girl, but seriously, she is a major troll. It is just that no one sees it, she keeps her bratishness inside, and the results of her subtle - and less subtle - maneuverings are her own private amusements. Her friends are her toys, and no one is allowed to mess with them but her. She is also very protective over her friends (again, no one is allowed to mess with them but her) and seems like there is nothing she wouldn't do for them. She really does love her friends, truly. It just isn't the same sort of love others have. Comes from spending her whole life deceiving them, perhaps. But she is generally the first to volunteer to help with things, and the first to offer a warm smile and a welcome.

Preferred Essence(s): Still trying to figure that out, open to ideas.

Looking For: stories with gender bending, or with detachable/split souls. (the second because Nadeshiko has a Shugo Chara named Temari, and Nagihiko has the eggs for both Temari and the yet unborn Chara, Rhythm. Both of which are parts of his soul/heart made manifest.

Appearance:
As Nagihiko: young man with loose long purple hair, a cocked hip, and either a shy seeming like he wants to hide, or a looking for trouble attitude he isn't fully aware he shows.

As Nadeshiko: A lovely young girl with her hair in a tight perfect ponytail. Always in something with a skirt, generally having a warm smile on her face, and her hands neatly tucked. Perfect posture.

Abilities: Once the eggs hatch:
Chara-change - when the shugo charas take over a small bit of the child's personality. There is always a physical difference that anyone who can see the charas (in canon animals, kids under 4, anyone who has a chara themselves, and certain adults for reasons unexplained. In RP generally anyone with a sensitivity to magic/souls, animals, kids under 4, an d anyone with a chara themselves.) can see. For Nadeshiko it is the design on her hair ribbon and the look in her eyes. For Nagihiko it is a set of DJ ports around his neck. Nadeshiko when she chara-changes sometimes manifests a naginata, and for NAgihiko sometimes some bit of sports equipment.

Chara-nari - as of canon point, they have seen others chara-nari but have never unlocked their hearts themselves. This is a full magical girl/boy transformation merging with their charas ala Pretear or Miraculous. It gives a tremendous amount of power, but generally requires the presence of the Humpty Lock which will not be coming into the game with them as they are not the bearers of the lock.

Quirks: None in mind at the moment, open to ideas.

Goal: I miss playing the "twins". A lot. So mostly I am looking for a fun game where I get to explore both personalities and build some good strong friendships for them. Also anything that helps boost Nagihiko's self confidence is welcome. And as Guardians, they are both hero types, so adventures are something they will happily join if they feel they can help. (Feel free to drag Nagihiko along even if he is sure he'd just be in the way, because he is REALLY good at seeing the big picture in battle and calling out useful advice and tactics.)

Extra: So... anyone want to play with a gender bending character who has STRONG separate personalities for each gender and is used to thinking of themselves as two seperate people?

Questions: Do you want to build a snowcastle? It doesn't have to be a snow castle....
