Unfortunately, the bricks hitting the wall - however low down - are enough to garner the attention of the egg up top, and it wobbles and turns around to look down at them. It makes some sort of gurgling angry noise and - oh it has arms? And suddenly, the egg is hurling smaller eggs their way.
Luckily its initial aim is about as good as Shad's, and the eggs go sailing over their heads and off to the side and anywhere but right at them.]

[Therion takes the moments before the egg can readjust its aim to twist, leaning back and using one arm to help aim his throw before throwing his bit of rock as hard as he can in what he can only hope is the right arc to hit the damn thing.
... it's not. But it's a good deal closer than Shad's attempts, hitting the wall only a few inches below the egg. This seems to make it angrier, and it starts throwing eggs at them with renewed purpose! And steadily better aim.]
