I feel like I should go full on dramatic irony and make poor Luigi a ghost, or something very strongly related to them. We can expand this into stories about monsters, or the paranormal. Alternately, if that doesn't work, we could look for stories about Siblings instead.

Abilities: Luigi's canon abilities are superhuman strength, agility and jumping really good! If I can figured out a good ghost story, I'd be up for giving him ghost related abilities.
