1) Essence practice makes purrfect Much of this was still a lot for Nanu to take in, but at least the irony was not lost on him with his Essence. Physical changes had been pretty minimal with the exception of a long striped cat tail (did a hole also magically manifest in his pants to accommodate it--a weird thought he quickly shelves) and feeling his grin could reach unfathomably creepy extremes now that would make any Gengar jealous (was he gifted more teeth as well--another weird thought he immediately shelves). After doing some reading about it in the Library naturally he wanted to get the magical abilities under control as they were mostly about mobility.
Should another visitor to the Library hunker down in one of the many rows of books it might not be long before they feel like they're being watched, feel like there's someone lurking right over their shoulders uncomfortably close, someone delightedly grinning at the back of their head the longer he successfully gets away with it; because that's exactly what is happening. As soon as they turn around there will be no one there.
As someone who was already sneaky, Nanu finds the invisibility and teleportation intuitive enough, but the levitation/floatiness is what he needs to work on. He'll play this game until someone is quick enough to turn around and catch him, or, more unfortunately, he falls literally out of the air only a few feet above them. Maybe over their head, maybe right into their lap, maybe on their feet and right onto the floor. Nanu's grin will be pretty gone at that point, replaced with his more normal and not at all apologetic one. He's small statured for a guy for what it's worth, but if it's anything less than a soft landing that'll smart his hips.
"...Wasn't supposed to happen like that."
2) Commission board 0904 - Wonderland-tits Despite the situation being well explained to him the recent phenomena of Wonderland-itis has Nanu second guessing it all. His ailments matched many of the symptoms. After all, what kind of Essence--mischievous cat or not--would actually want to pick an old wretch like him as an Aspect? So he sets off to collect potion ingredients just to experiment with, but, he's not doing this without a little forethought or insurance; he's aiming for a double dosage.
2-1) Most of the ingredients come fairly easily except for the glitterflies. Cat-like reflexes are a blessing and a curse in this case, and every bug he tries to catch he accidentally squashes in his hands or shreds between tiny retractable claws he keeps forgetting are there. After a few failed attempts he sighs and finds the nearest person, arms and face covered in glitter.
"Help a guy out for a second, will you? I'll make it worth your while."
2-2) If your character also has animal-features thanks to their Essence or Wonderland-itis, assume Nanu's already gone to the apothecary (sporting a fine layer of glitter for his trouble) and made two potions, one in hand and one secretly tucked away in his satchel. He'll casually float a few inches above the ground (too lazy to walk the distance especially now that he knows he doesn't have to) towards your character and offer one bottle, doing his very best to keep that wide grin at bay.
"Any clue what this is?"
3) Commission board 0906 - who you gonna call Nanu's always kept a mutual respect and understanding with ghost types, especially being so close with Acerola who specialized in them. Both enjoyed all things dark and spooky and he feels a little compelled with pangs of guilt, especially in Acerola's absence, to help out the resident ghosts here. Fortunately the residents all over the Index had so many varied houses with varied beds and varied bed sheets to choose from! And walls weren't much a barrier now! Perhaps it's good luck or perhaps it's bed luck bad luck that Nanu is caught in the act of pilfering what he hopes is an extra bed sheet from either out of a closet or directly off the bed. He might be accompanied by another juvenile spook or two more curiously interested in floating a shirt or some other personal object around.
"Don't mind me." He's going to try and put his disappearing act to good use and immediately bail, but being new to all of this still, the bed sheet trails behind him and floats in the air erratically as those walls that weren't much of a barrier are, now, with adrenaline pumping a little, more of an obstacle.
4) used Metronome - wildcard [[Prose or brackets, I'll match. Plot here or the workshop or PM me, it's all good. Whatever you want let's make it happen! Workshop is here here. Another prompt I was interested in was hunting the giant turkey, which Nanu would probably do with Persian's help as she would certainly be interested in contributing to the anniversary feast.]]
