Hey, guys, and welcome to forgottentales's Player Introduction post for our first batch of public registrations! Thanks to everyone who has joined so far, and looking forward for those who may come later.

To keep the OOC spam to a minimum, everyone can use this post for to say hello and introduce themselves, and for current players to greet them, especially as public registration goes on! Be sure to include your name, what character(s) your bringing, their essences, a little about themselves, and share your contact if you'd like! And you can put in whatever you want so just have fun /o/

Hey everyone! This is Nyanka, total newbie to Forgotten Tales. I've been around the RP block, but this one's a whole new territory for me. So please be kind.

Also, I apologize for bringing this gremlin boy here.



This is Kokichi Oma from Danganronpa V3. He is the Ultimate Supreme Leader who runs a huge evil organization from the shadows. He's also an unapologetic lying troll who probably doesn't even have a huge organization... Does he? It's hard to tell, and his childish demeanor does not help.

Yep. Kind of a jackass in a way... And that's exactly what he gets! That's right, I stuck him with Lampwick from The Adventures of Pinnochio. Ya know, that lazy troublemaking kid who goes to Toyland/Pleasure Island and turns into a literal donkey? Things are gonna get interesting, that's for sure.

Kokichi's from a canon that can be described as a murdergame, so you may wanna see his general permissions and opt outs. And a blanket spoiler warning for DRV3 since he's coming from late in chapter 5... My plurk is nyanka and my discord is Nyanka#7992. Happy to be here!

My roster here is Della Duck from the DuckTales reboot, Hunk from Voltron: Legendary Defender, and this kid - Varian from the Tangled tv series. Looking forward to them all interacting with your gremlin!

Hello, everybody. I'm Cybra and I'm bringing Scrooge McDuck from the 2017 version of Ducktales. I'm totally green to this setting so here's hoping I don't bork it up too badly.

Hello! Not new - I'm already your resident Sea Witch Naomi. But to be formal, I'm VG and I've brought Oswald from Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (haha I managed to spell it without looking) which is the remaster of Odin Sphere with less lags. His essence is Hell... Underworld... Hades, he's Hades from Greek Mythology and once he learns who that is, oh boy.

Hi guys! I already did an ooc intro a little earlier, late last month but I guess I can throw in something here too. Since I'm still pretty new with this game.

I'm Caprica and I have this sassy demigod here. Percy Jackson from Rick Riordan's series about Greek/Egyptian and Norse Gods and their offspring and how it Sucks to be a (demi)God. Basically. Percy is the son of Poseidon in canon, and so he has control over water, and can communicate with marine animals, and horses. That's his Thing.

Here, he has the essence of the Fish Prince. Which is a folktale about a prince that is chosen as the heir and his brother gets jealous and so said brother and his wife invite him to dinner and turn him into a fish, sending him off down the river to get rid of him. He then is found by the castle cook and offered as a pet to the royal family. They search for a wife for him, and said future wife is able to figure turning him back to his human form, happily ever after.

In terms of his abilities here, he can turn into a fish, obviously. Also a merman because why not, half way. And if he is particularly weak, a seahorse. He won't have his usual weapon (bye Riptide, best sword pen.) but will figure using a sling here.

I'm newer, both to this particular game and in playing Percy but hopefully I find my feet here and enjoy it! I think it is certainly an interesting idea of a premise and have always loved fairytales.

Well, if he ever gets them mixed up, here's a rhyme that Princess Minnie Mouse used back in Empatheias that she used to remember which Scrooge was 1987 Scrooge ("Uncle Scrooge") and 2017 Scrooge (generally "Mr. McDuck"):

Hii everybody! It's Zumi, already here as the fatter fluffier other Scrooge McDuck, and now I'm bringing to you... someone else short, floofy, and that wears no pants and might be from your childhood. Apparently I have a type.

Anyway! This is Gobo from Fraggle Rock. He's a kind little musician who tends to get in way over his head and get into trouble or seriously hurt, but it usually works out in the end. Eventually. His Essence is Hermes from Greek mythology, which gives him the ability to fly... ish... as well as a few other neat techniques (like magical music).

Hi! I'm Ama, and I'm bringing Anya (from the 1997 animated film, 'Anastasia') into the game!

She's a character based very loosely (omg) on the irl Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. She escaped the siege of 1916 with her grandmother, but 8 year old Anastasia couldn't keep up. She ended up falling and hitting her head, which was one of the many factors that separated her from her grandmother. Don't worry! They reunited. Ten years later, Anya was restored to her throne - and even though she's still quite new to the politics of the whole Grand Duchess thing, she pretty much wrote the book on how to be a royal pain in the ass.



Thanks to the help of LWP, her Essence is Vasilissa from Vasilissa the Beautiful. I haven't finished the character profile sheet yet, but I did find the time to quickly fill out the important in-game bits. You can find the link to that here!

Hey guys! This Usami, and while I'm not a new player, I am bringing in a new character! Master Crane, from the Kung Fu Panda movie franchise (but not the series, because no thanks).

Crane is a slightly sarcastic but overall noble Kung Fu master from (ancient?) China, and boy is he going to be confused by all the humans running around. Though that'll be nothing compared to the fact that he has his own human form, courtesy of his Essence, the Crane from Tsuru no Ongaeshi. He'll also have this weird compulsion to try and hide the fact that he's actually a crane, even going so far as to convince people he's human with a crane form instead of the other way around.

I'm excited to get to play him against people. If anyone would like to plan out some CR with him, just hit me up at usamichan13 and let me know!
