Character: Scrooge McDuck Canon: Ducktales 2017 Essence: Odin | Norse mythology Brief Personality: Tougher than the toughies, smarter than the smarties, and sharper than the sharpies, Scrooge is a family man at heart though he's also a greedy and arrogant person. He has a bad temper and will lash out at anyone who backs him into a corner whether literally or emotionally. He also has obtained an obsession with collecting and hoarding knowledge much like he hoards the coins in his Bin back home thanks to his connection to Odin. Appearance: He's largely kept his usual appearance except he keeps his right eye closed. (Still deciding if the eye was replaced with a raven's eye or is just gone.) He also has a pair of ravens with him, one of which is almost guaranteed to always be close by if not on his shoulder while the other one is off scouting somewhere. Abilities: Scrooge is awfully strong normally and very crafty to boot. However, since coming to Index and becoming bound to Odin, he has obtained the power to magically disguise himself, runic magic, and a pair of raven familiars he calls Thought and Memory whose eyes he can see through.
Currently: He's brand new and settling in. And apparently the niece he thought he saw die is here but he hasn't seen her just yet. Since he's from between the end of "Last Crash of the Sunchaser" and "Shadow War", he's pretty down given the family abandoned him a second time. Future Ideas: The only thing solid I've discussed with canonmates or anyone is meeting Della again and just being massively upset that he finally found her, and he can't give her back to the boys, so I'm open to ideas! Shipping: I'm not opposed to it though Scrooge is going to be a bit wary. Not only did he recently lose his loved ones a second time, his canonical love interest has been known to leave him for dead or sell him into slavery when it was convenient for her.
Extra Fun Things: The bookcases have hidden doors leading to the kitchen and bathroom. Plus both the personal study and the sleeping area are in the two lofts above the largest bookcases.
Business: Currently looking for work. Probably the best place for him given Odin's influence would be a library or bookstore though he also loves getting his hands dirty with field research.
